WHAT'S FOR DINNER: Lamb lettuce cups, BBQ tips, salad recipes, and 2019 Ambassador Chefs

This week on What’s For Dinner? we would like to inspire you with a collection of mouth-watering summer salad recipes and some very helpful tips and tricks for the barbecue. Also, we are saying Thank You to our outgoing 2019 Ambassador Chefs in our latest video.

New year, new you

If "trying something new" and "being healthy" is on your list of New Year's resolutions, you can tick them both off with our delicious lamb lettuce cups. They are perfect as a healthy and light meal, or use smaller lettuce cups to create bite-sized snacks for your next backyard get-together.

Cooking tip: Water chestnuts add a nice texture and crunch to the mince mixture and can be found in the Asian aisle of your supermarket. Click here for our Asian Style Lamb Lettuce Cups recipe.

What's summer without a good barbecue?

Learn a few tricks on your gas barbeque or low 'n' slow charcoal grill. We put together a guide on things like cooking times, best practices and which cuts to use. In our new video series, BBQ expert Matt Melville from Rum & Que and butcher Reuben Sharples, member of the Hellers Sharp Blacks, share their knowledge and experience on low 'n' slow barbecuing. Click here for all the BBQ tricks.

Thank you to our 2019 Ambassador Chefs

We wanted to give a shout-out to our amazing 2019 Ambassador Chefs: Scott Buckler, Jarrod McGregor, Andrew May, Freddie Ponder, and Pablo Tacchini. There were so many highlights - each a unique reflection of the chefs themselves. Here's a look at the year that was! Click here for the video.
