WHAT'S FOR DINNER: Sticky ginger beef, one-pot favourites, cooking with confidence

This week on What’s For Dinner? we feature a delicious recipe for sticky ginger beef, our favourite one-pot recipes, the new creations at Pita Pit with New Zealand beef and lamb, and tips for cooking at home with confidence.

Treat yourself this weekend

Sticky pull-apart beef loaded onto your favourite flatbreads - it doesn’t get much better than this. Serve with crunchy, sliced vegetables, a drizzle of hoisin sauce and a scatter of toasted peanuts. Don't be put off by the cooking time. This dish is all about quick preparation and then letting the oven take care of the rest.

Cooking tips: Alternative slow cooker instructions: cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-9 hours. To thicken the sauce if necessary, remove meat and pour the sauce into a heavy-based saucepan and cook over low heat until syrupy.
